On old sea charts the unknown regions are called terra incognita. Not a mistake on the map, but an honest admission. Children live in a world that is completely unknown.
They set out without a compass, without a destination, straight toward what they don't know.
Once, men sailed with that same longing, of to the horizon and the promise of what had no name yet. With time passing by, this terra incognita got smaller and smaller. Children nowadays grow up without the option to explore their own terra incognita. Parents control the borders of the world in which they live. Parents stand at the water's edge calling their children back because someone taught them to fear the sea.
Terra Incognita investigates that fear, and asks: what would happen if parents stopped calling, and followed the children into the unknown?
